More fields = more to harvest = more work and more money. If your always waiting for crops to grow your income will take forever to build and the game will feel very slow. the more work that harvester has to do, the more steady your income will be. both approx 7m width, so your turn around time between field harvest/seeding is reduced significantly.įrom there you should have enough fields and decent equipment to get you well underway financially. but dont plough over the road in front of shed.Ĩ) save up for the horsch terrano 8fx cultivator, and the amazone Cayenna 6001 seeder. just remember - use the outer edge of the road as your border when ploughing. You will gain a HUGE amount of field by doing this. if you plough right out to the shed they wont have room for turn around (see link below) The side with the shed - only plough to the START of the road, so your hired help can turn the vehicles around. i like to plough that field right out to the OUTER edge of the roadway on 3 of the 4 sides. Use plough, and drive with your wheels on the edge of the grass and dirt road so you keep a nice straight line. use "as is" (no ploughing extensions)ħ) eventually you can afford $88k for field # 13.įield 13 has a dirt road around the entire block, much like a border. (total of $30k) and you can spray fields to get a better yield, earning more money per harvest.Ħ) when you have enough money, buy field 14. You can see here, ive ploughed the roadway between fild #15 + 16, making it one large field.ĥ) buy the sprayer and the extra tank for it. This makes both fields into one larger field - easier for your hired help as you dont have to baby sit them as much and they will work for longer. try keep your border as neat as possible and you can just "cut loose" when filling in the centre. use plough and *NEATLY* and slowly make a border across each end of the field, then fill in the centre by doing longer runs length ways from one edge to the other. when they turn around i usually press Z twice to bring it in and not use it at all.Ĥ) when finances permit, buy field #15. When using either tool, whenever they turn around just watch out as they may put out the wrong guide and carve a groove in your newly seeded field. You could also use the Horsch T3D manually and do a better job yourself as it cultivates and seeds in one pass but is best used manually (no hired help) sometimes the help screws up and tries to double back. ![]() your hired help may skip a little patch on the end, but its a small price to pay. it will also make it easier and quicker to harvest the first field as you wont have to do so many trips to the dumping stations.ģ) buy the amazone D9 seeder and use it with the blue cultivator on the front of your ORANGE tractor. you may need to earn money between each of the following steps, ive just tried to keep it short n' sweet.ġ) sell the 4 old school tractors, and the crappy "wheel barrow" sized trailer you start with.Ģ) buy the gilbert 1800 trailer and hook it up to the green and yellow tractor you start with, empty all grain silo's. This is only my method of starting out, maybe others have different or better methods but this is what i did.
